Exposition of 2015 - the 10th anniversary of the museum

It has become almost a tradition that with the arrival of spring and the awakening of nature we are coming back to you, our loyal fans, lovers of dolls, art and memories of the old days to inform you what news await you and also we want to invite you to visit the museum. Ten years have passed since the our exhibition of historic and artistic exhibition of dolls, bears, strollers and matters related to the Bohemian Paradise started. Therefore we consider this an exceptional year. Those expecting a magnificent celebration they will be disappointed. After much deliberation, we decided to celebrate the anniversary by the work itself and to concentrate all the means and abilities in the development of the exhibition. We believe that pampering and preservation of historical and artistic resources has much greater and more lasting value than fleeting celebration. It certainly can not be overlooked that in the past two years there is a new trend and museums of dolls, of strollers, of toys and of other thematic fields are growing like mushrooms after rain, regardless of the quality level and of collectible value of exhibits.

Therefore, we want to create high-quality exposure, we want to explain to people what is and is not valuable collector's item appropriate for the museum. We do not want to deceive visitors with demonstrations of folk art or of items easily available in the shops with souvenirs. We want to provide our visitors with demonstration of exhibits of high historical and artistic value.

We are pleased to announce that we incorporated several another fascinating historical dolls into the historic exhibition. They are at the shooting of Czech film currently, but they will come back to the opening of the museum and they will be ready to delight your eyes and soul. Similarly some amazing bears are waiting for you.

On the occasion of our anniversary we decided to organize a new project - an exhibition "Phenomenal baby Quinlynn in various designs and other dolls of artist Laura Lee Eagles", in honor of this great American artist Laura Lee Eagles, her sculptural works are admired by lovers of dolls around the world. Sculpt Quinlynn won the world prize in Collii awards - best sculpture of newborn.

Our project is currently supported by the first world competition DAOTY - Doll Artist of the Year. The winning doll will become a part of the exhibition and the permanent exposition.

A small sample of prepared exhibition, in which Kristie Carwithen, Stacey Haskins, Lilia Ziems, Christy Lange, Carmen Sommer, and others are involved.

The exhibition includes a baby Knox, of course the artist was inspired with alive baby.

And the biggest pearl, surprise for visitors is baby Quinlynn 3 - full body silicone baby. Unique work which involves three great artists: sculptor - Laura Lee Eagles, painting – Kristie Carwithen, rooting – Stacey Haskins. I think that this final work of these three lovely ladies need not comment other than: "Phenomenal baby!" It is truly a breathtaking work of art! You're looking at this baby doll and you are expecting that she begins to breathe.

Competition DAOTY will decide on another doll for this project. We will inform you about it. Outside of works of artists which we presented in the recent years, we are pleased to introduce other artists that also are on top artistic glory in world of dolls.

Into this exhibition we have also included a novelty that appeared in the world of dolls last year. 3D printer and scanned photographs of the live baby are used to create forms.

In the exhibition of silicone dolls you can see additional works of already notoriously famous international artists such as Selena Saxtom, Romie Strydom, Claire Taylor, Lorna Miller Sands, Julie Molloy, including of another embodiment but this time annual Prince George by Joanna Kazmierczak. We will now present in our museum also artworks of artists Andrea Arcello and An Huang.

From the world of delicate babies we move into the realm of mystery and horror. Our black corner including the horror Chucky has a lot of supporters, especially among young visitors. Beautiful Vampir Angelica and her younger friend Ladybug by Gundi and Luciano with nonviolent design is not interesting only for the young but also for visitors of other age groups.

We believe that dolls Angelica Vampir and toddler Ladybug did not startle you too much and we guarantee that you can expect a lot of another positive items. The reputation of our museum about redheaded angel in the basement, which fulfills all the secret desires have already been confirmed by tens of visitors. Even several happy couples in love after one year returned, and came boast  to us with their alive art doll of own production, then what they visited our neonatal department and asked the angel about meeting their wishes. We are so good that the growth of potential visitors to the museum we are able to provide themselves !...... Of course, with the help of our magical Guardian Angel .......
